![]() The next day i decided to cancel my appt as i found a very professional company to do them for me which was slightly more expensive but great customer service. She ended up hanging up on me because she had another call coming through, so professional. Half an hr later i get a call from her mobile asking if i know what the process is for extensions and that i this and i need that, which i knew I didnt, she then started to belittle me basically implying that im stupid, i could tell she just wanted to argue with me. I called the day before my appt to confirm the time, Louise answered and confirmed the time which was fine. In short, we had a disagreement over pricing to which we debated, however, I believed this disagreement was settled in the first phone call. In the lead up to my appointment, she called me twice off her mobile. She had no idea what she was talking about, she did not know pricing for anything and had no idea what was involved with the process of hair extensions so she said she would need to find out and call me back. I purchased hair extensions from Jam, 8 weeks later I called to book in to have them removed, re-taped and reapplied. He completely forgot about the Olaplex treatment Id requested, and didn’t recommend any products to take care of my new hair.I felt rushed and belittled after the whole thing, and I hope Tony was just having a bad day because no one should pay hundreds of dollars to leave a salon feeling that terrible.Ībsolutely horrendous customer service from the Owner Louise, i would NOT recommend this salon at all. It was totally humiliating. After a super rushed shampoo with not a head massage in sight, he was then so rough as he brushed out my wet hair that I was left with scratches on the side of my head and I could see my hair breaking off all through the brush. He continued his tirade about idiots asking for bleach literally while he was applying the bleach. I wish I had booked in another stylist though because the owner Tony left me in tears □ After lecturing me about how only stupid people put bleach in their hair as it breaks off and ends up looking like a ridiculous “hedgehog”, he then proceeded to put bleach in my hair after I explicitly told him I wanted whatever colour he recommends that will not damage my hair. The shop caters to a kid experience but, only thing I experienced was getting robbed for $16.Decided to switch up my regular hair salon and give JAM a go after reading all the amazing reviews. Most people will say “it’s just a kids haircut” but if I’m paying for a service PLEASE be professional and courteous enough to provide that service with limited distractions. Thank god she ain’t put the clippers to his front hairline than I would’ve seriously flipped out and let the devil take over me. The sides of his hair was uneven, his lineup was jacked up and I don’t know what the hell she did to the top of his head but it’s super crooked. I won’t be back but will just find a regular boys barbershop one with an experienced barber who can take their time giving my son a proper fade haircut. Nonetheless I just allowed her to finish so we could just leave and get the heck out. ![]() ![]() I avoided confrontation because (1) I can get passionate when trying to get my point across face to face and that can be mistaken for being “aggressive” (2) my son was excited to get a haircut and I didn’t want to ruin his experience and lastly there were other kids present, so i didn’t want to get overly hype. Not just once, or twice, or even three times, she kept having to stop and than rushed his haircut. I felt like my sons haircut was an inconvenience to her because she kept stopping to do other things. However, I am paying for service and would greatly appreciate if the person cutting my sons hair focused primarily on that. Ot faulting her for that because she needs to keep the chaos in order.
